A recent theme has been doing something with old fence palings that have been hanging on a fence for fifty odd years. It seems a pity to discard or dump them.
I am keen to use the material in it’s current form, just shaping and joining, no nails or screws, and with very little or no finish applied. Leaving the nail holes and splits and rot in place where possible.
